Account Security and Error Prevention - Best Practices

Best practices for account security and to avoid errors when logging in and using Sked Social

We've put together some best practices to ensure you get the most out of our platform without encountering errors. Following these guidelines can protect your account security, enhance your experience, and make the most of our features.

Do Not Share Your Login Credentials:

  • Sharing your login credentials poses a security risk to your account. Keep your username and password confidential.

  • If multiple team members need access, create individual accounts with unique login details for each user.

Use Sked on a Single Tab:

  • Using Sked on a single browser tab is recommended to prevent potential conflicts and errors.

  • Opening the platform in multiple tabs simultaneously may lead to data synchronization issues and could affect your current session.

Avoid Being Logged into Multiple Devices at the Same Time:

  • For a consistent and error-free experience, log out from one device before accessing the platform from another.

Regularly Update Your Browser:

  • Ensure that you are using the latest version of your preferred web browser to access Sked.

  • Outdated browsers may only partially support our platform's features, potentially leading to compatibility issues.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):

  • Strengthen the security of your account by enabling two-factor authentication.

  • 2FA adds an extra layer of protection, requiring a secondary verification step, such as a code sent to your mobile device and your login credentials.

  • To set up Two-Factor for your Sked login, head to settings > 2-Factor Sked login.

Report Issues Promptly:

  • If you have errors while using the platform, please report them to our support team immediately.

  • You can use our live chat to provide detailed information about the problem, including error messages and the steps leading to the issue.

Following these best practices can significantly reduce the likelihood of encountering errors on Sked. We are committed to providing you with a reliable and efficient scheduling experience, and your cooperation in adopting these practices will help you succeed. If you have any more questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.

Happy scheduling!
